• Myofascial Release Massage (MFR)

  Developed by John Barnes in the 1970s, Myofascial Release (better known as MFR) can be performed by massage therapists and physical therapists. It is a style of massage / physical therapy that takes a whole body "hands-on" approach to the evaluation and treatment of the human structure. The goal is to help return the body's capacity to adapt, by restoring three-dimensional balance. What this means is that it works on realigning the body to its proper shape through manipulation of connective tissue (fascia). While the basic focus of MFR is to put the body into alignment (as the body tends to stay well when aligned), it can be used to remove pain, increase range of motion, and generally make someone feel better. Every part in the body is connected by fascia. Consider it like the threads on a sweater which hold that sweater in shape. If you pull one thread, eventually the entire sweater is affected. The same is true for the human body. The fascia is normally a nice, soft, rubbery substance that gives when we move. But through trauma, it can become hard and constricting. When this happens, the body’s alignment changes. We feel pain, and a host of other problems crop up. Trauma includes accidents, injuries, surgeries, bad posture positions. If you look at someone, is one shoulder lower than the other? Usually, if one shoulder is low, the hip on that side is high. This is caused by constricted fascia pulling that side together. An MFR therapist works by applying a series of holds to help loosen, and relax the fascia. These holds are done skin on skin with no lubrication (this is not your normal massage) for a period of three to five minutes each. During this time, the fascia starts to loosen and eventually (in most cases) returns to its normal pliable state. MFR starts with the alignment of the pelvis (the physical center) and then works up and down from there. This work can also include compressions, glides, and stretching. An example of constricted fascia is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (lumps in your wrists). Doctors surgically remove the lumps leaving scar tissue which in turn create more Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This is why it keeps coming back. MFR has been used to get rid of Carpal Tunnel. It has also been used successfully against Fibromyalgia, migraines, and scoliosis. To a trained MFR massage therapist, this is the first approach when dealing with stiff necks, frozen shoulder, or tightness in most areas, and should be received when getting chiropractic work as it allows the work done by the chiropractor to have a longer lasting effect. At the beginning of a session, an MFR therapist will evaluate the client’s physical alignment, as well as listen to what is bothering them. But understand that while you feel pain somewhere, the cause may not be where the pain is. Many times, the pain can be referred, meaning that something going on in one place may be felt somewhere else. As MFR therapists say, “Find the pain. Find the cause elsewhere.” Since the MFR work is done at the level that it is, it tends to have a longer lasting effect than doing regular, oiled massage. Most people who receive this work feel invigorated and looser afterward. • Myofascial Unwinding

  Every memory of everything we have done in our lives is stored as energy in every cell of our bodies. This energy can cause us problems unless it is released because it is linked to all of our experiences, the good as well as the bad. Memories such as sexual abuse, auto accidents, or any other memory based energy can affect us in how we act or react to things. Unwinding is a way of releasing this energy. It involves allowing your body to go in the positions where it wants to go while a therapist watches over you, keeps you safe, and helps you through the process. Your body knows what it needs to release. The issue is allowing it to get where it needs to be to release it. Sometimes these positions are very much like the positions that you were put through in the actual experience that your body is trying to release. (Remember, you are not the one deciding what to release. You are simply following your body and allowing it to do what it needs to do.) Many people who have been through auto accidents tend to hold in that energy, and their bodies are screaming for it to be released. When done, a person usually feels lighter, relieved of tension that may have been caused by bad experiences or other energies. They feel stronger and able to move on. This is the purpose of unwinding.

• Meditation Session

  Meditation is a means of communicating with your subconscious mind. It is useful for various reasons, calming, strength, reinforcement of desires, and making changes in the way you feel or act. By your conscious mind telling your sub-conscious how you want to be, you can slowly transform yourself, and achieve your goals. If you do, or have done meditation, but just don’t seem to be getting where you want to go, and want some help, we can take you through a meditation crafted specifically for your needs. Come in and talk with us, and we will listen to see what would be the best meditation for you. This could be something standard (like a Sanctuary meditation), or something specific to you, something designed to your specific needs. Once there is a plan, we will craft a meditative “journey” just for you, and take you through it. Usually with most meditations, we guide the subject to a place that they can do the work they need whether that be calming, building strength, or making changes in their makeup. We then allow time for the subject to do the work they need (as much as 15 minutes), and then bring them back to full wakefulness. Once hearing the meditation, the subject could remember it, and repeat it at home for themselves. Caring Palms’ meditations are guided meditation, but not for the entire time. We take the subject into the meditative state, bring them to a place to do the work they want, and let them work for a while before bringing them back. This is different from other guided meditations who guide one through every step. We believe that the purpose of meditation is to do some type of work, and we allow that time (in most of our meditations). While we are not speaking (guiding) during this process, we are there watching to make sure the subject is safe at all times. Meditation is a safe and beneficial process that leaves the subject calm, and fulfilled. Have questions? • Reiki Session

  Although Reiki is not massage (as the muscles of the body are not manipulated), it is a very relaxing yet powerful method of healing. In the simplest form, Reiki is the laying on of hands. It is guided, positive energy brought in from the universe by someone that knows how to ‘tap into’ it, and passed into someone in need of healing. All problems in the body, whether they be illnesses or injuries, are centered around negative energy. Reiki overcomes the negative energies with positive energy, in most cases making the person feel better, and in some cases removing the problem completely. Reiki has been known to reduce and alleviate pain, discomfort, or disease of any kind, and has been used on all major diseases. Reiki is hands-on healing and a nice pleasant experience. Coming from the Japanese words Rei (God or Goddess consciousness) and Ki (universal life force energy), Reiki is a natural method of hands-on holistic (relating to, or concerning the whole body and mind) healing where universal energy is channeled through a practitioner into a person in need for the sole purpose of healing. The word Ki is the same that is used in Japanese martial arts such as Aikido or Hapkido. Ki is also synonymous with Chi as in Tai-Chi. It also means the same as the Indian word Prana. Although channeled into the body's seven major energy centers, chakras (pronounced shock-rahs), the healing energy of Reiki goes where it is needed most. Reiki works on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Sometimes people will bury away problems that they have had in their lives. This is bad as to release problems, they need to be worked out. Sometimes Reiki will attack those problems to try to release them instead of what the client (or therapist) is expecting it to work on. As stated, it goes where it is needed most. A person receiving a Reiki treatment experiences a nice, warm, pleasant session as the therapist’s hands become warm as the energy is passed through them. When the session is over, the client usually feels relaxed, refreshed , and full of energy. Reiki works on all problems whether they be illness and disease or physical pains. Many times, the Reiki energy will alleviate the pain in one session (and this is completely dependent on the problem). Other times, it may take a few sessions. Sometimes, it is better when combined with other things, like massage, or normal medical care. In the case of illnesses, Reiki can work differently. Sometimes it will bring on the illness harder so it will pass through its cycle and be gone in a shorter than normal time. (Imagine getting a cold, which takes 7 - 10 days to run its normal cycle. Getting Reiki can make the cold come on harder and then be gone in a couple of days.) Belief in Reiki is not necessary to receive a treatment. Reiki is energy, and will do what it needs to do even if one does not believe in it. However, if someone actively disbelieves in it, or fears it, they will block it and it will not be able to do what it needs to do. Here are some Reiki facts... Reiki originated in the Tibetan Monasteries as a method of self-healing on mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual planes. Reiki has grown over the years into a technique for sharing these self-healing energies. Reiki is a bio-energy process, which draws energy into the practitioner’s body and then transfers this energy into another person. Once the practitioner has had a Reiki initiation, the energy transferal happen automatically when hands are placed on another individual. Reiki energy is safe and non-invasive, as the practitioner has only to lightly place their hands on the other person, or even just above them in order to conduct the Reiki energies. Reiki will go right through clothing (so a person being healed can remain dressed) with the result being a warm, very relaxing sensation. Reiki can reduce and alleviate pain, discomfort, or disease of any kind. Because Reiki is guided by the God-consciousness, and based on universal love, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and adjusts itself to create the effect that is appropriate. One should never worry about whether to give Reiki or not. It is always helpful. Because Reiki energy is channeled, the practitioner’s energies are never depleted. In fact, the practitioner benefits from Reiki energy as it is passed through them. Giving a treatment always increases one’s energy reserves. Anyone Can Learn Reiki If you have not tried Reiki, it might be worth looking into. • Mediumship Readings

  Typically, mediumship has been called “talking with the dead”. In truth, it is a way of connecting with loved ones that have passed to the other side. It is a way of connecting, and knowing that death is not the end, but just another phase of life. Just because the physical body of a loved one passes from our view, the love we feel for them does not end. And neither does it end for the person who has passed to the Spirit World. Where there is real love between people, there is always a continued connection. Connecting to those who passed gives us the opportunity for closure, to release old hurts, to see that these people still care and are watching over us, and to see that they are fine. Brian has been talking mediumship classes since 2006, and has decided that he has the confidence to offer this service to the public. Brian practices the British style of mediumship which looks very similar to the style performed by John Edward of “Crossing Over”. The British style came about due to the Fraudulent Medium Act of the 1950s. This method brings forth evidence to prove to the sitter that the medium truly does have their loved one. Evidence could be a description of the person, mannerisms, cause of death, a description of the place they lived, even what they liked doing when they were alive. Once the spirit has been recognized by the sitter, a message is given, and questions can be asked and answered. Even if your concerns are about you personal life, the medium will be bringing in a spirit who will answer these questions for you. Now keep in mind, spirit does not give specifics. If you ask spirit where you should live in 10 years, they will not answer with “1650 Park Place…”. They are more likely to direct you to an area, to show you that you have the gifts to count on your own abilities in finding this place. Also keep in mind that spirit is done with the life they were living. They no longer have the constraints that they followed when they were here. For example, one’s father may have been a man that could not display his emotions. He could not hug someone else as freely as he would have liked. Now that he has passed, those limitations are gone, and he may express his regret at being able to do this. And while spirit is no longer concerned with their life, they may be very interested in yours, guiding you, nudging you to make the right decisions through energy. • Chakra Balancing

  Chakras are the major energy centers in the body (see Chakras Explained). Occasionally, they can get out of alignment, unbalanced, or turning in the wrong direction. This happens simply by experiencing life, emotions, reacting to different situations. When this happens, a person can feel out of whack. They can take on other emotions that will throw the balance off even more. During the session, the practitioner will see where the chakra points in another person are out of balance and restore them to their proper position and rotation, and alignment. This is done by connecting to each chakra energetically, then working with them to get them in the right place, and rotating in the proper direction. • Energy Cleansing

  There are times when someone is just going through a very rough time. These could be life issues, relationship issues, job issues, and others. When these things happen, a person just feels down, feels negative about a lot of thing. This can lead to the buildup of negative energy. When this happens, one needs to be cleansed. Now, the rule of energy is that (in most cases) energy that is removed must be replaced, otherwise, the person the energy is removed from will feel tired and listless. There are times when someone has too much energy (and this is marked by not being able to sit still, or feeling “wired”), and energy simply needs to be removed. An energy practitioner that is knowledgeable at this process will assess the needs and begin the process. This process involves the practitioner pulling out all energy as if they were a hose draining energy from the subject. As the energy comes into the practitioner, they separate the negative energy from the positive and send it to the ground. While they are doing this, they pull positive energy in from the universe and combine it with the positive energy that was separated from the negative energy, and then return that to the subject. Once complete, the subject should feel much better, much more positive. The process varies in time based on the amount of energy needing to be removed. Getting a Major Chakra Cleansing will also do this as part of the process, just differently. • Major Chakra Cleansing

  Depending on situations, some or many of the major energy centers of the body (chakras) can get blocked where energy does not pass through them. Which chakras depend on the situations a person is going through. For example, if someone is stressed, the chakra controlling thought processes will probably be blocked because they are worrying about something. And because thoughts due to worry causes that chakra to be blocked, it will also cause others to be blocked, like emotions, balance, even communication. Say someone is worrying about something. Their thought process chakra will block. But then they get emotional, and that causes the emotional chakra to block which makes the person feel out of balance. Before long, we have at least five blocked chakras. While some chakra issues can be corrected with balancing, or locating and clearing them, many times this is not enough. When this happens, a major cleansing is needed. This is done by passing White Light through each chakra (one at a time) until it is clear. This could take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes per chakra. With the subject lying down, the practitioner places their hands above the chakra (on the top side of the body) and below the chakra (underneath the body). The energy will build until the block is “blasted” away. Once all chakras have been cleansed, another pass is made to make sure that each one is “lighting up” in their proper color, and another pass to make sure each one is spinning in the correct direction (clockwise from the point of view of the practitioner). Once completed, the subject usually feels relaxed, energized, and much lighter. • Etheric Cord Cutting

  As we go through life meeting people, we make attachments. Some of these attachments are fleeting, some stay with us for a while, and some become close and very important. For example, you met someone years ago that became a close friend. In doing so, you made and energetic attachment. Maybe you have not heard from this person in years, and they are no longer in your life. But even though this may be so, you are still attached to them by an energetic cord. And while this cord is causing no harm, it is still dragging on you to some extent. Another example would be that you met someone that became your boyfriend/girlfriend, and that attachment was very strong. But as in the case of relationships, you broke up, yet that link is still there. And not only is it there dragging on you, it is also negative. This is where cord cutting comes in. The practitioner will have the subject stand, and then will cover them with a shield. The practitioner will then set that shield on fire (energetically, not real flame). The fire will cut all cords attached to the subject, and because we are using fire, it will cauterize them so they can not grow back. Once all the cords have been “cut”, the fire will be put out, and the subject will be taught a shielding exercise where they can control who reattaches and who can not. Finally, the practitioner will remove their shield allowing the subject’s shield to control everything. Once the process is done, the subject usually feels better, freer, and more like themselves. This process only takes a few minutes and is usually combined with a Major Chakra Cleansing. • Soul Retrieval

  As one journeys through life, the astral body can become damaged, especially if one has had a lot of trauma in their life. Soul Retrieval is a way of repairing the astral body. This is done by removing negative energies, tracking lost soul shards, and then weaving the astral body back into a whole. Once that is done, we finish up with an energy charge. This is done through a meditation where the therapist leads the subject on a journey to locate and pick up all the lost pieces and carry them to the point that they can be re-infused. This is done through cleansing fire and white light. Unlike other meditations, the therapist is with the subject the entire journey. They are not only guiding the subject, but seeing what they see so they can direct them. At the end of the journey, after all the pieces have been re-infused, the therapist brings the subject back out of the meditative state. • Unspecified White Light Work

  This type of session is for something that does not fall into the realm of other healing types that have been listed. White light can be used for many things from cleansing chakras, to cord cutting, and beyond. At Caring Palms, we use it to cleanse people and places, do distant healing work, and remove unwanted travelers from subjects. If you feel you have some unique issues, call us and we will listen to what you believe is going on, and then make recommendations for the treatment needed. Nothing is weird. • Trance Healing

  Trance Healing is a method where Spirit / White Light healing energy is brought through the practitioner who is in a state of deep attunement with spirit healers. Trance comes from Trance Mediumship, which is a meditative state that allows a deep connection of the practitioner with spirit healing energy. This energy is transferred into the subject to do whatever is needed most. This is like Reiki, but is not Reiki. It is a higher form of spirit energy. While Reiki is universal energy which comes from the universe, and also from spirit, one is not in a meditative state during Reiki. While doing Reiki, the practitioner is open to the energies, but awake and responsive. They are able to answer questions and interact with the subject. During Trance Healing, the practitioner is in a deep meditation, or trance state. This allows them to better harness the energy as they are in a deep state where their consciousness is involved very little or not at all. They are completely out of the way, so the energy flow is pure. They may be standing or seated. The subject can be seated in a chair, or laying on a massage table. What happens is determined on the practutuiner's depth of trance. In a mid-level trance the practitioner's hands hover over the subject, and are “guided” where they need to go. This is to have them in the best position for the energy to work. In the deepest trance mode, the practitioner usually does not touch the subject. Instead, they sit accross from them and send the energy. The subject usually feels warm as they are enveloped by the healing energies of the process. During a Trance Session of any type (healing, speaking), the practitioner is in a vulnerable state. The person being healed must not touch them unless asked, and should make no loud noises or sudden movements. • Reiki 1 Class: Beginners Class

  Reiki 1 is a beginners class that teaches the basics of what Reiki is, how to use the energies, and all considerations therein. In a Reiki 1 class, the student is taught what Reiki is, the history of Reiki, Reiki ideals, proper healing practices, how to channel the universal energy into themselves, and then into others for healing purposes. Self healing and healing others are the main focuses for this class. Other information presented includes non-Reiki basic energy exercises (opening the chakras, grounding, shielding, centering) and all things a Reiki practitioner should be concerned with. • Reiki 2 Class: Intermediate Class

  Reiki 2 is a comprehensive class which focuses on distant and group healing. The technique of Beaming is presented for a single practitioner and as a group exercise. Also presented is distant healing as performed by a single practitioner and then adding the power of a group by creating a healing chain. Finally, the power of the group is used in the hands-on healing of a single person. Basic energy exercises are also reviewed. • Reiki 3 Class: Masters / Instructors Class

  Reiki 3 teaches the final techniques of Reiki, reviews Reiki 1 and Reiki 2, tests the student for their knowledge, and teaches the attuning process. This class covers non-Reiki advanced energy work (sight scanning, locating and clearing blocked chakras). In the final Reiki techniques, the student is taught the use of Reiki with animals (not included in the CEU class), and special techniques that combine the power of Reiki with positions of Polarity. • Massage Class for Couples

  This is a class designed to teach basic relaxation massage to couples so they are able to work on each other for stress reduction and minor muscle problems. The massage movements taught are non-sexual and meant to be used with proper draping. What you do in your own home later is up to you. During the class, massage terms will be given, and movements will be shown matching those terms. The students will be shown a massage ‘routine’ for a full body massage that is on paper so they can take it home to remind them of movements and patterns. Later it is expected that the students will modify this routine as they grow comfortable with it and the needs and likes of their partner. Because massage movements can hurt if used incorrectly, cautions will be given. Certain parts of the body (called endangerment zones) will be avoided, and others will be explained with movements shown specifically for each area. During the class, massage movements will be taught. Each student will get a chance to practice these strokes (with supervision) on their partner, eventually doing a full massage routine. Included with the class is a handbook which includes massage terms and definitions as well as a printed, descriptive 1-hour massage routine. (This is the routine that is taught in the class.) The handbook also includes information on the Proper Pressure and Speed of massage movements, Lubricants (oil or lotion) - what to use and where to obtain them, Health Issues and Contraindications, Areas to Avoid and Special Movements for special areas, Suggested Equipment, Draping, and Setting the Proper Atmosphere. This class is not intended for licensed massage therapists (as they should already know most of what is taught), nor is it intended for the student to charge money giving massage for what they learn from this class. For someone to charge money for massage, they must have graduated from an approved school for massage, and be fully licensed. Note: The maximum class size is two students so there is a greater level of comfort. It is expected that the two students be a couple (or partners, or good friends) who want to learn to do basic massage on each other. The class fee covers training and handbooks for both students.   The techniques of meditation are taught. The student will learn how to go into a meditation and what to do while there. They will experience two guided meditation routines which they will be able to recreate at home at any time. Meditation helps people calm, center, de-stress, and make changes in themselves. • Advanced Body Mechanics and Tecniques

  This class, Advanced Body Mechanics and Techniques for Massage Therapists, is designed to reconnect the massage therapist with proper body mechanics and techniques while putting a new twist on things and showing how to get more pressure with little effort. While it does go over some basics, it takes body mechanics to a new level where every move involves the use of the therapist’s entire body so they can work without hurting themselves. The class being part lecture, part hands-on practice takes positions, centering, and the proper use of body strength from Japanese martial arts and applies them to the art of massage therapy. It also shows how to focus one’s energies to increase their strength with simple exercises meant to teach the student how to ‘think’ beyond where they are working so they can get deeper into the client and to channel their energies to the point of thought. The student will learn how to focus their energies and use their body to do deep work and not get hurt. This class will help anyone to work deeply with less effort no matter if one is 90 pounds or 250 pounds. This class is for both the seasoned therapist and the new therapist. It will show moves everyone does, but in a new light as well as moves many people may not have seen before. The idea is not to dictate how to practice, but to show better body mechanics which the therapist can adapt to what they do. This is true whether they adapt all of it or just part of it. • Reiki 4 (Advanced Class - Reiki with Crystals)

  Reiki 4 teaches how to combine the combine the energy of crystals with Reiki during a session. This workshop teaches about setting a healing environment, selecting and caring for crystals, crystal properties, choosing the ones to use in the healing session, placing them either on or around the subject, and then doing a complete Reiki session. The student is encouraged to bring their own crystals to the class to use during the practice sessions as the instructor does not have enough to go around. (Class time: 6 hours)

• Astral Projection

  Similar to Remote viewing, Astral projection is the typical out-of-body experience. One creates an etheric (energy) body, and sends it to where they want to go. This could be to check in on loved ones, give comfort remotely, do remote healing work, or find out information about a place or people. Where Remote Viewing “sees” a place from some type of information (like an address), it does not send an energy body there (and in some cases, this could be preferable). Astral Projection allows you to travel in your energy body. With a body, one could comfort a friend with a caring touch, give someone a hug (which the person at the other end might feel). We actually astral project when we sleep. Our mind goes out and plays while our physical body rests. Did you ever wake up and feel not all there? That was your energy body not getting all back before you woke up. The next night, it does. This class shows the student how to send their consciousness elsewhere to visit or help others. Two methods are taught, 1) through a deep meditation, and 2) through a conscious mind. Through deep meditation, astral projection is relatively straight forward, and seeing things is quite clear. • Basic Energy

  This class is an introduction to energy work with a focus on managing one’s own energy. It teaches how to open up the energy centers, protect oneself from negative energy, help oneself focus, and remove excess energy. The student will learn the following exercises: Opening the Chakras: This prepares the major energy centers of the body to work throughout the day. It wakes up each center and prepares them to process energy for the day. Shielding: One learns how to protect themselves from negative energies and emotions so that they are not affected when in crowds of people, or other negative situations. A shield is an energy barrier around someone that blocks negative energies, strong emotions, or other disruptive energy related occurrences. Centering: This is a way of bringing in all loose thoughts so one can focus on what they need to. We constantly think about more than one thing at a time, basically multi-tasking. This teaches how to connect and eliminate all loose thoughts so that one can keep focus on what they are doing. Grounding: This is a method of letting go of excess energy so one can calm, or sleep. When we work with energy, we usually have some excess hang around that we don’t need. This removes that excess by sending it into the earth. These exercises are essential for anyone doing any type of energy work, or anyone affected by strong emotions of others. It is also important for those working with other people in a helping situation (like medical care, counseling, coaching, psychological care, massage, and more). • Chakra Balancing

  Chakras are the major energy centers in the body (see chakras). They control energies affecting thought, balance (not necessarily physical), emotions, communications, intuition, physical self, and connection to spirit. Occasionally, they can get out of alignment, unbalanced, or turning in the wrong direction. (From the point of view of the healer, the chakras should be turning in a clockwise direction.) This can happen through problems in our lives. Are we worried about something? Did something emotional happen causing heartbreak? Has there been an injury? All of these things can affect our energy centers. It can cause them to be out of alignment, blocked, or just not right. When this happens, a person can feel out of whack. Depending on the chakra, or chakras involved, a person can have trouble communicating, thinking clearly, not knowing which way to turn. We can be emotional, or unable to express emotions. The purpose of the class is to teach the student where the chakra points are in another person and where they are out of balance. The student will then learn to restore the chakras (one by one) to their proper positions and rotation. This will be done by using one’s own energies to feel the current positions, and then “massage” them back where they should be. (It would be helpful to bring someone to be the subject.) • Energy Cleansing

  When someone has a lot of negative energy, it can be removed and replaced with positive energy. The student will learn to remove negative energy from an individual using their body as a passageway to ground, and replace it with positive energy to help them regain health. • Sensing Problems in Others

  This class teaches the student how to find physical problems in another person. Every problem has negative energy associated with it which can be detected by the three methods taught in this class. Low Level Hand Scan: This is where the student places their hands on another person, and then senses negative energy under their hands. This method is good for locating problems that cover areas. Medium Level Hand Scan: This is where the student runs their hands above another person seeking problems. This is good at locating problems that cover medium to large areas. It is also known as Byosen scanning. (This method is taught as part of the Reiki 1 class.) Sight Scanning: In this method, the student will learn how to find problems in another just by looking at them. This method locates larger problems. • White Light Healing

  White Light work is work through spirit, usually done through a low to medium level trance mode which is in part a mediumship skill. White light can be used in many practical applications. It can be used to do major chakra cleansings, cord cutting, removal of negative things in people. It can also be used as the energy to do astral projection and distant healing. In itself, White Light is a direct connection to spirit, receiving spirit energy, and using that energy to help heal others. It can be applied to people or situations in the past, present, or future. With Reiki, the practitioner is like a hose. They connect to the "Reiki faucet" and passes that energy through them to whatever purpose the Reiki wants to do. With White Light, the practitioner is jumping in the pool and becoming one with the water, and the water is becoming one with them. While Reiki has a mind of its own, and does what it wants, the practitioner has some control with White Light. They do not get down into the details of what is happening, but requests that something specific be done. This class can be taught in private classes, or group classes.
